   The Friends of Historic Meridian host six free lecture programs each year.  The programs are open to the public and no reservation is required.

    All lectures begin at 7:30 pm and are held at the Meridian Service Center, 2100 Gaylord C. Smith Drive, East Lansing.

    Following are the speakers scheduled for the Spring, 2008, series:

    Thursday, March 27th:  Speaker:  Laurie Perkins   Subject:  Michigan Great Lakes.

    Thursday, April 24th:  Speaker:  Michael Cox  Subject:  The Infamous Marble Murders of East Lansing

    Thursday, May 22:  Subject:  Historic Lansing Cemeteries.

    Speakers and topics for the Fall lecture series will be announced at a later date.  The fall programs will be held on the following date:

    Thursday, Sept. 25th
    Thursday, Oct. 23rd
    Thursday, Nov. 20th
